SEPL 2P DC Surge Protection Device (SPD) 20/40kA

SEPL 2P DC Surge Protection Device (SPD) is designed to protect photovoltaic DC electrical systems against transient overvoltage and surge events. The two-pole configuration provides surge protection for DC positive and negative lines, making it suitable for solar PV systems, inverter DC inputs, combiner boxes and DC distribution applications. The SPD provides 20kA nominal discharge current and up to 40kA maximum discharge current capability for effective transient surge protection. A visual status indication window provides quick operating-condition identification, with green indicating normal operation and red indicating a protection-module fault or replacement condition. The device incorporates thermal protection technology for safe disconnection under abnormal operating conditions and is designed for use in compatible photovoltaic DC distribution systems. Voltage selection should be matched with the PV system DC voltage and maximum string open-circuit voltage before installation.
